We would like to announce the third issue of the ESGE VISION newsletter (December 2019)!
The second part of 2019 has been very busy for the ESGE. It has seen the launch of its scientific publication Facts, Views and Vision: Journal of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy and the 28th Annual Congress in Thessaloniki. The journal is an open access journal and is available both online and in print.
This issue will show you also the highlights of the congress and an interview with one of the keynote lecturers Professor Denis Querleu. Professor Querleu is one of the pioneers of laparoscopic surgery in gynaecological endoscopy and you will find his account of past and present of endoscopic treatment of gynaecological cancers.
Featured this time, two past ESGE presidents: Professor Diethelm Wallwiener and Dr Rudi Campo. They were honoured at the 28th Annual Congress with Honorary Membership of the Society and their account of their contribution is included in this issue.
